HFFG was registered under the company’s code of 1963 (Act 179) on June 2001. The organization is also registered and certified with other statutory bodies.
Our mission is to advocate on behalf of women, children and families in promotive health by mobilizing communities and strengthening their capacity using their own resources for acceptable and sustainable projects.
HFFG currently implements projects in over 35 deprived communities in the Central, Eastern, Volta and Greater Accra regions of Ghana. The organization is mainly into the promotion of child survival, Reproductive Health including safe motherhood, HIV/AIDS prevention, care and support.
Since 2002,HFFG has been implementing the Child Survival Project in collaboration with Plan Ghana in Mankessim Program Area in the Central Region of Ghana.
The organization also received sponsorship from Ghana AIDS Commission (GAC) to carry out HIV/AIDS prevention activities targeted at the youth in 10 communities in the Mfantsiman district of the Central Region.
With support from Hope for African Children Initiative (HACI), the organization provides educational support for 30 Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC).
25 People Living With HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) in the Mfantsiman and Komenda Edina Eguafo Abrem districts in the Central Region of Ghana are also being cared for and supported by HACI and SWAA through various Income Generation Activities.
HACI for instance supports the Fish Processing Project of the PLWHA while SWAA Ghana funds the Mushroom project.
We also uphold the policies of transparency and accountability with our partners, project beneficiaries, donors, staff and consultants acting consistently with a view to achieving programmatic and administrative quality in all projects/programs we undertake.
