" Improved Health Care To Women and Children "

Established and handed over fully equipped reproductive health centre with food processing unit for women to Ghana Health Service at Ekumfi Ekrowful in the Mfantseman East District of the Central Region with a goal of improving women’s and girls’ access to quality maternal, neonatal, child health and improving primary health care services to over 5,000 people in the facility’s catchment area. This was done with funding support from Simavi of the Netherlands, USAID and the French Embassy’s Social Development Fund.

" Established Support Groups "

Established mother-support-groups and daddies clubs in 2,500 communities to actively participate in sexual reproductive health and family planning interventions and other community based program implementations.

" Trained 33 Health Service Providers "

HFFG with support from Simavi, Under the Access Services and Knowledge (ASK) project with three year funding (2013-2015) from the Dutch Government through Simavi trained 33 Health Service providers in youth friendly services in Asikuma and Saboba in the Central and Northern regions respectively. The project supported the establishment of youth friendly corners in 10 health facilities in the two regions. HFFG also established District Consumer Health Associations in the two project districts.

" Improved WASH conditions "

Supported five communities in the Greater Accra and Western regions to improve WASH conditions through Behaviour Change Communication (BCC) which reached 7,000 households and 37,000 individuals with BCC messages annually from 2010 -2011 with funding support from USAID, through Global Communities.

" Increased Immunization Coverage "

Partnered the Ghana Health Service to increase immunisation coverage from 51% to 75% between January 2011 and June 2013 in forty (40) difficult-to-reach communities in the Twifo Ati-Morkwaa and Hemang Lower Denkyira Districts of the central region. This was funded by Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunisation (Gavi).

" Education on Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health "

Reached 300,000 people with education on maternal, neonatal and child health, WASH, malaria prevention, family planning, and nutrition, between May 2010 and May 2013 in three districts each in the Greater Accra and Central regions of Ghana on the Behaviour Change Support Project, funded by USAID through the John Hopkins University.

"Intervention in Mensural Hygiene Management "

Implemented an intervention in Mensural Hygiene Management in 50 schools that reached 40,000 school children in the Greater Accra, Central, Brong Ahafo and Volta regions with education and information with support from Sanita Group of companies.

"Establised 5 young sex workers support groups "

HFFG with funding from UNFPA through SWAA Ghana has established 5 young sex workers support groups in Brong Ahafo and Ashanti regions; a platform used to build their capacity in ASRH including contraception promotion.

" Rehabilitation of Health Centres "

Partnered the Ghana Health Service (GHS) to revamp and also rehabilitate health centres in 5 communities in the Ajumako Enyan Essiam and Mfantseman districts of the central region.
