Training Of Traditional Birth Attendants (TBAs)
There was a capacity building training workshops for twenty four Traditional Birth Attendants on Reproductive and safe motherhood. The aim was to build their capacity to effectively provide basic maternal and child health services and to provide education to their rural communities.
The TBAs would provide Reproductive Health services such as safe motherhood and family planning to women in the fertile age. Whiles managing uncomplicated pregnancies and referring complicated ones to the nearest health facility. They would also give education to women on nutrition and child care.

Training of Community-Based Health Agents (CBHA)
CBHAs were trained in the management of basic childhood illnesses such as malaria and diarrhoea as well as make prompt referrals of serious cases to the nearest health facility.
The CBHAs will work with GHS at the sub district levels to promote and distribute the Insecticide Treated bednets. They will educate community members and families on preventable illnesses. Their educational messages will also address, HIV/AIDS/STIs, hygiene and sanitation. They will also distribute non clinical family planning commodities.

Orientation of District and Sub-District Health
Professionals (Nurses and Midwives)
The district and sub-district health professionals were given technical orientation on the project interventions, expected outcomes and their roles.
The orientation was also to sensitise them on the activities of the Community Based Health Agents and Traditional Birth Attendants and provide support whenever needed since they will handle referrals from them.

Theatre Training For Young People
HFFG organised theatre training for young people.
The purpose of the training
is to equip them with skills in theatre and community education through the
